What this game helps with
Therapy goals: Precision, graded movement control, visual-motor integration, proximal stability, and patience with slow, deliberate movement — Goldie's specialty.
The child presses on Goldie and guides him along the path from start to star without crossing the edges. Goldie follows the finger on a gentle spring — rushing makes him swing up and down and off the path, so only slow, graded movement keeps him steady. Slipping outside the lines just counts a gentle "wobble" — nothing resets. A stopwatch runs quietly so therapists can track speed, but steadiness earns the stars, not racing. The stopwatch counts only active tracing time — letting go pauses it, and celebrations are not counted. When Goldie is let go he hops back onto the path by himself; each hop is counted separately as "help" (recenters), not as a wobble.
Easy: wide, gentle paths. Medium: narrower with more turns. Hard: narrow wiggles and tight spirals. Expert: razor-thin paths with the wildest swings. Every level mixes hand-drawn-style path types — waves, cursive curls and loops, wandering doodles, diagonal hairpin slaloms, sharp spikes, spirals — plus surprise paths that are different every play.
