What this game helps with
Therapy goals: bilateral coordination and timing (alternating left/right), auditory processing and beat synchronization, motor planning, reaction time, and crossing the midline. Keeping a steady rhythm also supports attention and self-regulation.

Tips: start on Easy with a slower tempo and encourage tapping one hand per side. As timing improves, move up to Medium and Hard. Counting or clapping the beat out loud first can help the client feel the rhythm before they play.

Settings: the tempo (Easy–Expert) and the timing window (Relaxed, Standard, Strict) are separate, so a slow tempo can be paired with a generous or a tight window. Practice mode shows the notes and pads with no score, combo or misses. Sound can be muted or turned down at any time; the falling notes and the pulsing pads work without sound.

How scoring works: a note counts once. It is Perfect, Good, or Missed (nothing was tapped in time). Live accuracy = Perfect + Good divided by the notes that have already passed, not all notes in the round. An extra tap is a tap made during the round when no note was there to hit; extra taps are shown separately and do not change the score or accuracy. The round waits for the last note's window to close before showing results.

Device delay: phones, tablets and Bluetooth speakers or headphones can play sound later than the screen shows it, often by 50–300 ms. This game cannot measure that on its own, so timing numbers are approximate. "Check timing" plays eight clicks, you tap along, and the average difference is used to adjust judging on this device.
