Each card waits for the Next Question button, so the answer and its reason stay on screen as long as you like.

After a placement that is not on the answer key, a "Grown-up: accept this choice" button appears under the feedback. Use it when the child gives a good reason. Accepted choices are listed in the round summary.

What this game helps with
Therapy goals: emotional identification and vocabulary โ€” recognizing, naming, and sorting feelings โ€” plus matching real-life situations to emotions, empathy and perspective-taking, and the understanding that big feelings are normal and can be shared. Tips: there's often more than one monster who fits a feeling, so talk it through together. Ask the child about a time they felt that way, and use each card as a gentle opening to discuss emotions and healthy ways to cope. The score simply counts correct placements and attempts; it does not measure a child's feelings or emotional ability.
